He devoted himself to politics after the tragic death of his brother Nicolas Theotoky who, as Minister of War, was executed in 1922 by the opposition, after the loss of the Asia Minor Campaign. He served three times as Minister of Agriculture and was deeply attached to the land.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Georges Theotoky (1926-2021) and his wife Claudia inherited the family\u2019s passion for &nbsp;this land , &nbsp;by renovating the wine cellar and achieving organic certification for the estate. They also implemented a centrifuge for olive oil production, which enabled them to make health claims about their product.
